Where is the least likely place
you would expect to spend Mother's Day?
Is it in a hospital?
Is it?
Why yes.....
yes it is......
And as I walked into the hospital room to see my mother
that sunny day on May 13, 2012
The first thing I saw was an empty bed........
And my first thought was "oh no, oh no, oh no".....
I definitely got a bit panicky
until I looked to the side,
and saw her in a recliner, looking as beautiful as ever, and
never complaining that she had to be in a hosptial
for Mother's Day.
The 2nd thing I noticed,
was the row of flowers along the window sill
that goes to show the love so many have for her.

And a cute homemade card from
sweet Grace.
As the day progressed most of her children,
and grandchildren came to visit
including
The Ockey clan
Kaylee, Karlee,
and the "favorite" son
Kevin...
DISCLAIMER:
He is the favorite because he is the "only" son,
but we won't go there.......

Mom was able to visit with her grandson,
Elder Mason Molyneaux
live from Spokane, Washington.
NOTHING keeps this
woman down.
Not even a broken wrist, and pelvis.
And as always is
making the best of a bad situation....
Her positive words were
"At least we are together"
We love you mom and are so proud to be
~your family~
And even though lunch was
"Scarf n' Barf"
at the local hospital instead of the annual
Chuck-A-Rama
At least we were together!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
