A cool 75 degrees at 7 a.m. as I went for my morning "constitutional" walk. Depending on your age; you might remember your mother or grandmothers referring to an early morning walk as a "morning constitiutional." If you have never heard this phrase before, I am happy to have enlightened you with this bit of educational trivia. And as it is the 3rd of July, masquerading as the 4th here in St. George, constitutional seemed a fitting word.
A balmy 81 degrees at 8 a.m. when I got home from the aforementioned constitutional and went to the parade which was conveniently located at the end of my driveway. By early afternoon it should be a brisk 38 degrees! Unfortunatley for all of us desert dwellers; that is in celsius, which holy hotness is 101 degrees farenheit. (Where is the little degree mark on a computer anyway?)
I was going to be all patriotic and post great pictures from the 4th of July parade, or should I be calling it the 3rd of July parade (?) but my ding dang camera battery was dead! Typical problem for me. If I remember my camera for an important photo opportunity, I usually have forgotten to charge the battery. Lesson learned....................again.
Happy 4th on the 3rd..... at least for those celebrating in Utah.
