So, I'm willing to bet that my Wednesday, was WAY more exciting than yours!
We had the fire department come "visit" us at work.
Can you top that?
Details as follows:
The doctor had just finished a procedure and turned off the UltraSound machine. He heard a "pop" in the wall where the machine was plugged in, and the room started filling up with smoke.
So what do you do in this situation?
Why yes, call the FIRE DEPARTMENT!!
They arrived in a total of about 30 seconds, seriously those guys got there fast!
However, no matter how quickly they arrived.....
The smoke was gone by the time they got inside.
As you can see (if you enlarge the picture, which had to be taken with my cell phone because hello, who did not have her camera when she needs it? So the pictures are terrible, but deal with it.)Anyway, to repeat myself, As you can see..... the nurse(click picture to really comprehend the dangerous perils of this situation!) was totally professional and SERIOUSLY CONCERNED as she fearlessly evacuated the patients to keep them safe from the fire we were all expecting.
On the up side, I did get to have my picture taken with some really hot ( yes, that sarcastic remark was waaay too easy, but I just couldn't resist) firemen, although they wre young enough to be my sons much younger brothers, and who were professional, courteous, and not at all bothered by the fact that this turned out to be
NOTHING.
As for the smoke,
we are still trying to figure that one out.
An electrician came to check things out. He found
NOTHING.
So where there's smoke, there is not always fire.
That's a great thing. I really didn't want to have to run out of a burning building.
Because I am so NOT a DRAMA QUEEN.
the end.
